Tungz – What for?

Bristol-based outfit Tungz shares shimmering new single ‘What For?’, taken from their exciting new, self-produced EP.

Channelling more of that bold and funk-filled direction throughout, their latest offering looks to cement this new EP as one of their most engaging and reassured releases to date with a notable psychedelic swagger.

Speaking about the new single, they say,

“This song is about letting your thoughts do their thing without worrying about it. The lyrics and melody came all at once one late night. The best way to hear your subconscious. We spent a lot of time on the drum production and rhythms to take it to our dance roots as a live band. We always knew this would be the opening track to the EP. Play it at all your parties.”

The EP ‘Why Do Anything?’ is out now via Heist or Hit. The band will also be playing a pair of socially distanced EP launch shows in November. Visit here for tickets and see details of both seated events below.
