Melis is going back to her roots with new single ‘Waves’, which arrives with a nostalgic video, shot on 16mm film in her hometown in Prague.
Starting with a simple melody, the track soon builds into a beautifully crafted and intimate assemble of vulnerability and melacholic feelings used to convey a love/hate relationship with someone.

Brisbane-based trio MTNS release ‘Waves’.
The electronic production reflects the title of the track as the bass lines roll over you like waves in the ocean…or much like positive and negative aspects of life hitting you one at a time.
MTNS say of the track, “‘Waves’ is about how we experience different stages in life, with a specific focus on relationships. It’s based on how love can help us overcome things, and work through the ups and downs we often find ourselves in.”

Sekuoia
Sekuoia is 21-year old Danish Patrick Madsen.
To say there is a buzz surrounding this young producer is an understatement. Madsen effortlessly bridges ambient, hip hop and electronica, To date he has released two EP’s (the most recent being on Berlin’s Mooncircle), and now brings us dreamy and washed out new track ‘Waves’, which he describes below:
“Initially I wrote this track in the summer of 2013. I was spending time writing new material in order to play a long set at Roskilde Festival. One night I was playing random stuff on this Spanish guitar, and singing through a mic with loads of reverb on, and while just singing random words, the melody and lyrics just occurred. Since then I’ve been adding new elements along the way. It’s the first track I’ve made with proper lyrics, and in a way it has been the hardest track for me to produce.”
