Violet Days – Suck At Love

Violet Days - Suck At Love

Violet Days – Suck At Love

Violet Days is the project of Swedish singer/songwriter, Lina Hansson.

Asking whether you ‘Suck At Love’ is always going to be tricky to answer, but it’s also highly relatable to the majority of listeners. Luckily for us, Kris Eriksson (The Chainsmokers) is on production duties, helping Violet Days create an anthemic electronic song that almost makes us forget the initial question.

Violet Days will be playing the Ja Ja Ja club night at The Lexington in London on 23 February.

Sounds like: Tove Lo, Ellie Goulding, Monogem, Lorde, Chrvches, Evvy, VÉRITÉ, Imogen Heap, Dominique

Dimond Saints – Stay Feat. Yaarrohs

We’ve been keeping our ears on Dimond Saints for a while.

The Oakland-based duo create atmospheric electronic tunes.

New release, ‘Stay’, features vocalist, Yaarrohs and is a future-thinking tune of a brooding and operatic nature.

Sounds like: BLSHS, The Chainsmokers, Little Dragon, Broods, Raindear

Jake Alder – Horizon (Feat. ELIZA)

Jake Alder

Jake Alder

Classically trained London producer Jake Alder has been on our radar for some time now, following the release of his two incredible tracks with Charlotte Turnball earlier in the year.

So we are pretty happy to hear that Jake has a new single out tomorrow, having teamed up with an equally talented singer called ELIZA.

‘Horizon’ is a song for reflection, to uplift and calm at the same time. What better way to finish of a pretty crappy 2016.

Sounds like: Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Dominique

The Him – Don’t Leave Without Me (Ft. Gia Koka)

The Him

The Him

The Him is the fresh and experimental production duo of Dutch citizens, Jeroen Kerstens and Steven Berghuijs, who have both managed to appease lovers of indie, deep house, nu disco and pop all in one.

Their new track, ‘Don’t Leave Without Me’ is slightly more dance-based than our usual posts, but it includes the pleasingly rich vocals of pop singer, Gia Koka (who is also a writer and producer), so we couldn’t say no.

Listen below and drift away to warmer climates.

Sounds like: XY&O, Kygo, Sam Feldt, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, Gryffin, Imogen Heap
