With just two tracks under their belt, PLYA‘s sound is already becoming very recognisable as energetic pop that is full of adrenaline. Handy that, as their second ever single is called ‘Adrenaline’!
Speaking on the single, PLYA explain,
“Adrenaline is about that perfect high you feel when you fall for someone new. For us, the track captures the rush of living in that care-free moment, but not knowing where it will take you.”

Devastating pop trio, LANY, have cheered us right up with the new video for ‘ILYSB’ (I love you so bad), probably our favourite LANY song to date.
Speaking of the video, lead singer, Paul Klein, says, “I turned ‘ILYSB’ into a tragedy of unhealthy obsession and unrequited love that ultimately led to psychotic behavior and total derailment.” We’ve all been there, Paul.

Nashville-born and now Los Angeles-based, LANY are developing into a better and better band every time we hear them.
When discussing the meaning behind new track, ‘Kiss’, lead singer Paul Klein says. “This song is about liars. It’s about people who don’t have the balls to tell you the legitimate truth. They’ll water it down, beat around the bush, spin it whatever way they have to. They’re probably scared to tell you what really happened or how they really feel because they ‘love you.’ But they actually just love themselves.”
‘Kiss’ has been taken off their new EP, ‘Make Out’, to be released on 11 December via Polydor Records.
They are also opening for Elle Goulding during her UK tour in March. But remember, we saw them first!

Lany – Made in Hollywood
LANY is a synth pop band from Nashville.
Following on from the release of the ‘Acronyms EP’ and the success of their last track, ‘ILYSB’ being number one on Hype Machine, is the just-as-catchy ‘Made in Hollywood’.
Similar to previous tracks, the lyrics for ‘Made in Hollywood’ are what dream-ridden 80’s American films are made of. This is hazy indie pop at its best.
