Lia Lia – Olymp

Lia Lia

We know very little about electro pop newcomer, Lia Lia, apart from that she friggin’ rocks on an olympic level.

Very much like the excitement we felt when we first heard GRIMES, Lia Lia offers something fresh in a mundane music industry.

Watch the video below, let go and simply enjoy the journey that Lia Lia takes you on. It’s a bit of a roller coaster, but hey, it’s fun, so you better get used to it!

Sounds like: Stalking Gia, Grimes, GEMS, CAPPA

Zen Mantra – Remember You At All

Zen Mantra

Zen Mantra

Zen Mantra is the musical moniker of New Zealander, Sam Perry (Yumi Zouma).

The video for ‘Remember You At All’ has been co-directed by Sam Perry with Ben Dodd, Frances Carter, and Lily McRae. What started out as a bit of fun, drinking red wine and having a competition amongst friends to see who could best interpret Michael Stipe’s dance moves in R.E.M‘s ‘Losing My Religion Video’, soon turned into a fog-fuelled, “low budget spaghetti western horror” video, with nods to Yumi Zouma’s debut LP, ‘Yoncalla’.

Zen Mantra’s self-titled album is out now via Flying Nun Records.
