Hurts – Lights

Hurts

Hurts

Hurts returns with the incredible video for ‘Lights’, the latest single taken from Hurts’ forthcoming album, ‘Surrender’ (out worldwide on 9 October).

Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Beyoncé), ‘Lights’ is a startling dose of modern, well crafted, disco pop.

The seven-minuted video by Dawn Shadforth (Kylie Minogue, Björk, Goldfrapp, Florence + the Machine, Primal Scream) follows two outsiders having a contemporary Saturday Night Fever moment together. That is until it all kicks off…but they don’t let a bit of fighting spoil their fun.

It is probably one of their best videos yet.

Pre-sale tickets for upcoming European tour available here.

Sounds like: Depeche Mode, Brandon Flowers, X&Y, Young Empires, Polyna, Kylie Minogue, Florence + the Machine,
