Von Sell – Ivan (Revisited)

Von Sell

Von Sell

A self-confessed terrorist of love, and now tunes. Von Sell releases the final version of his track, ‘Ivan’, following the “quasi demo version” doing the rounds on blogs in early 2015.

Von Sell has quite an eclectic background, having been born to an Israeli mother (who also sings) and German filmmaker. He lived in New York during his early years before moving to Germany at two, where he was raised. He later returned to the US to study at Berklee College of Music.

Listen to ‘Ivan (Revisited)’ below.

Von Sell is lined up to be one of 2017’s breakthrough acts.

Sounds like: Summer Heart, Hazel English, Teen Daze, Peter Gabriel, alt-J

Midnight Mystery Club – Calling Me

Midnight Mystery Club

Midnight Mystery Club

Indietronica is an addictive genre. Other styles rarely get close to the type of highs that indietronica induces.

One band pushing forward such musical euphoria to the masses is Midnight Mystery Club (aka David Paul Newell).

Offering us light hearted synths, with addictive riffs and beaming melodies, it’s no wonder that Midnight Mystery Club has drawn comparisons to greats, such as Empire of The Sun and Peter Gabriel.

Sounds like: RÜFÜS, Fenech-Soler, Empire Of The Sun, Gypsy & The Cat, M83, Peter Gabriel

‘Firecracker’ is a cinematic synth pop number, that is the perfect soundtrack to a modern day life in NYC.
