Noé – ibynoé

Noé

We don’t usually share EPs on the site, but given the fact, we have already featured most of
Noé‘s music on the site, it seems fitting to share the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter’s debut EP ‘ibynoé’.

It’s a proud collection of work that marks an end in Noé’s current musical chapter of dark and quirky indie, electro and R&B. We can’t wait to see what’s next.

You can listen to the whole EP below:

Sounds like: Noosa, RALPH, Sigrid, Fiona Apple, VÉRITÉ

Glassio – Morning House Feat. Charles Fauna

Glassio

Glassio put together an awesome playlist for us last year, so we’re super excited to share their new electro-pop track, ‘Morning House’ featuring Brooklyn artist/producer, Charles Fauna.

Despite growing up in different parts of the world (Sam between Dubai and London and Charlie in Paris), these musical cultures have merged to form the sound of Glassio that we know today.

‘Morning House’, written out of their bedroom studio, was fuelled by the need to dispel negative energy; “Morning House” is an homage to living in the moment, mindfulness, and self-reflection.”

Sounds like: Aquilo, Foals, Jagwar Ma, Rüfüs, Flume, Odesza, Bob Moses, Glass Animals, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

Petite Meller – Milk Bath

Petite Meller

Petite Meller

Introducing our little French beauty, Petite Meller.

Born and raised in Paris, Petite writes obscure, visceral pop, that celebrates the surreal and the absurd, in the everyday. “I only make music for the reason that I didn’t have anyone to dance with,” she says.

The song was recorded between Brixton in London, and Johannesburg in South Africa, where much of the instrumentation was performed by musicians from Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Petite is sharing another unorthodox video for ‘Milk Bath’, and as with all her releases, Petite developed the video treatment with long-time collaborator Asaf T Mann. It sees her travelling to Germany, and Senegal, where they shot scenes at a naturally pink lake. To find the locations, Petite and her team reached out to scientists from Cornell University, who became involved in the project, helping with locations and access, and asking Petite to take a sample from the lake.

Sounds like: Grimes, MØ, Ji Nilsson, Allie X

Tess – Love Gun

Tess

Tess

The internet is a powerful tool for musicians, even when you live on a small French Island east of Africa.

One such musician is Tess, who was approached by Parisian label Choke Industry (Lilly Wood And The Prick) after watching her cover uploads on YouTube.

Tess’s second original release, ‘Love Gun’, is a song about the difficulty and destructiveness of being far away from a passionate relationship.

Sounds like: Tove Lo, Dua Lipa, Kehlani, Ariana Grande
