Minneapolis synth-heavy indietronica artists Poliça unveiled the new video for ‘Warrior Lord’, on Oct 7th 2013, as the latest release from forthcoming album ‘Shulamith’ which is due for release on 22nd October on Mom + Pop, and available to preorder via their website here, and include a lyric book with each purchase.

The visual which accompany this smooth and alluring song, are two girls swimming in a lake, and the directors Isaac Gale and David Jensen have created a beautiful and entrancing dreamworld.

Poliça was formed in 2011 by Ryan Olson and Channy Leaneagh, who had previously collaborated in the soft-rock band Gayngs. They released their debut album ‘Give You the Ghost’ in 2012, which was well received, and even had Justin Vernon (founder of Bon Iver) say ‘They’re the best band I’ve ever heard’.

Jagwar Ma are Jono Ma, Gabriel Winterfield, and Jack Freeman from Sydney, Australia. They formed in 2011. Their music is easily comparable to the Madchester and Baggy music genres of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Noel Gallagher recently praised the band, stating that listening to Jagwar Ma’s debut album, ‘Howlin’, is more important than an Oasis reunion.

Check out their latest single, ‘Man I Need’, which is a psychedelic-indietronic track taken from their debut album ‘Howlin’, which is out 10th June 2013 on Marathon Artists and is available for purchase here.

‘Howlin’ was recorded in a remote town in North France, with just the two of them, an 808, a Fender Jaguar, a laptop, a pair of vintage Neve console channels, and some high powered sound systems.
