‘I Need You Tonight’ is the latest in what’s been a prolific year of electro-pop anthems from the fast-rising European pop artist, Delena.

Lyrically suggestive, it’s an ode to the initial, exciting stages of a relationship. Set to the foundation of contemporary pop production, it’s another gem going above and beyond the high expectations set by Delena.

Marie Lang – Don’t Wanna Go Back

GabriellaLamb3

Trying her hand at a more pop-oriented track, ‘Don’t Wanna Go Back’ by Marie Lang is another stunner, with lyrical candour, creating a constructive narrative about Marie’s romantic life and tales of love, connection, and everything in between.

A classic friends-with-benefits situation, Marie once again takes a personal story and turns it into a vibrant piece of R&B and pop.

TONI&MASH – I Want It

t&m

German / British duo TONI&MASH teases us up with the first track from their debut EP ‘I Want It’. Going full on acid and synths, the track will take you through their world and warm you up for the full EP.

With a wide range of influences that includes everything from Abra to Patti Smith, and Grace Jones to The Sugababes, TONI&MASH have developed a DIY aesthetic with a riot girl attitude that borrows just as heavily from their retro inspirations, as much as more contemporary ones.

Micky Blue – Champagne Reign

Micky Blue

Micky Blue

British-come-US native Micky Blue is a female artist who has made a return to the music industry more independent and stronger than ever.

Her stunning heartfelt new track, ‘Champagne Reign’, has been produced by Mickey Valen and co-written by Joren Van Der Voort.

In Micky’s own words, the track “is about how far some people are willing to go for the glamor and fame. I think you can still reach your dreams without “selling your soul” or loosing yourself, it’s a much harder and longer road but I think the payoff can be much greater.”

We couldn’t agree more. Listen below:

It has been taken from her upcoming EP entitled ‘Wild Things’.

Sounds like: Evvy, Noosa, Linney, Ayer, Ghost Beach, Kyla La Grange, Foxes, Keyes

Evvy – Tidal Wave

Evvy

Evvy

We’ve had our indietronica eyes on New York-based Evvy since the release of ‘Collide’, which was produced by Mickey Valen.

EVVY’s new single ‘Tidal Wave’ has met our expectations. The track still has Evvy’s distinctive vocals, but the production has taken a glimmering tropical turn, and it’s hella catchy.

We strongly believe this is the track that will sky rocket Evvy to pop stardom.

Sounds like: Foxes, Jax Jones, Noosa, Ayer, Ghost Beach, Kyla La Grange, Blonde

Evvy – Collide

Evvy

Evvy

Evvy is a popstar in the making from NYC. Creating luscious piano chords with heart-wrentching vocal melodies, this is emotional pop at its finest. ‘Collide’ was produced by Mickey Valen (Noosa & AYER), who recently teamed up with Chris Wallitsch to form the production duo ‘Mickey Valen & The King’.

Whilst still a fairly new kid on the block, Evvy has all the ingredients to rise quickly and over at Indietronica HQ, we are excited to hear more over the coming months!

Noosa – Begin Again / Clocktower

Noosa by Myles Pettengill

Noosa offers us her latest tracks ‘Begin Again’ and ‘Clocktower’, both taken from her debut full length album ‘Wonderland’, which was recorded with infamous producer Mickey Valen (Ayer).

Both tracks are a good introduction to Noosa’s music, if you have not listened to Noosa before.

‘Begin Again’ is electronic pop at its best; full of layered synths and songbird vocals.

‘Clocktower’ is an emotional, but uproarious track paired with gorgeous piano chords and strings.

Noosa will be offering up two tracks per day in the lead up to ‘Wonderland’ being released on 20 May.

Sounds like: Ghost Beach, Chela, Kimbra, Ellie Goulding, Ayer, BLSHS
