Exmag – In This Feat. Ehiorobo

Exmag

Lay down some vocals, come up with a great disco sound, and party all night long. Jobs a gooden right? Sure, if we are talking about Exmag, as things seem to be super breezy at the moment with this funky hip-hop trio.

In their new video for ‘In This’, which features vocalist Ehiorobo, things are just that. Chilled with celestial harmonies and nostalgic guitar riffs that take you somewhere. You’re not entirely sure where this place is, but you know it’s good.

Speaking of the track, Exmag explains,

“We’re really stoked about this release. We had a great time getting to know Ehiorobo, and producing the track and video for “In This” was a really effortless, communal process…‘In This’ came together really naturally. Ehiorobo was a perfect fit. Everyone came together and we actually had the great party that is being depicted in the video. A big thanks to Ehi, Nesmith Films, and our awesome friends who made this whole production happen so effortlessly.”

It’s part of a two-track release called ‘Glimpses of a Vision’, out now via Majestic Casual Records.

We last spoke with Ayelle over two years ago, so we are especially excited to share her new single with the Dutch live-act and producer, Feiertag.

The dark pop track loops sensuality as it takes over our minds with a predictable yet exciting energy.

The single is out now via Majestic Casual Records.

Robotaki – Together We’re Screwed Feat. Nevve

Robotaki

Rising producer Robotaki (aka Preston Chin) returns with a ‘Together We’re Screwed’ after taking a number of months out to record new material in the studio.

The song features the light-hearted vocals by Nevve who is quickly establishing herself as the go to singer on EDM productions, as well as easy synths and a brewing bassline.

Robotaki says,

“This song started as a remix but I loved the instrumental so much I wanted to keep it. We tried singer after singer but nothing clicked. One day Nevve sent over some ideas, and with her voice, it instantly clicked. To me, the dynamic across the lows and highs in this track reflect the complexities of love, the tribulations of lust, and everything that falls in between. The turn of the new year has me feeling good, and like now is the right time to put this out in to the world.”

It’s out now on Majestic Casual Recordings.

Sounds like: Gryffin, Hotel Garuda, Louis the Child

Donny – Too Crazy To Love You

Donny

A lot of great music has been coming out of Israel. One such contender is Donny, a producer and singer/song-writer who takes inspiration from soul music and turns it on its head with smooth electronic instrumentals.

His new track ‘Too Crazy To Love You’ is about calling it a day “because you realize you’re not doing good for your significant other.”

It’s out now via Majestic Casual Records.

Life Is Better Blonde – Fires

Life Is Better Blonde

Upon first listen of ‘Fire’ by Melbourne-based Life Is Better Blonde, we immediately drew comparisons to Jack Garratt and James Blake.

The track is full of intimate vocal techniques, erratic, but beautiful piano chords, and intrusive, electrocuting production. It’s left our ears buzzing!

It’s out now via Majestic Casual Records.

Sounds like: Jack Garratt, James Blake, Flying Lotus
