Wow Rainsford has pulled this one out of the bag. Her new single ‘Intentions’ is a sensual duet with Twin Shadow nonetheless.

Rainsford’s ever-so sultry vocals sweetly surrender to the nostalgic temptation of Twin Shadow.

Turn the lights down low, slip into something more comfortable and listen below.

Zosia – Water

Zosia

‘Water’ is the swirling indietronica debut from Los Angeles-based Zosia.

Despite her self-proclaimed bubblegum pop style, ‘Water’ tackles a very prominent subject of what wasting water is doing to our planet

With Polish heritage, Zosia has a huge respect for the inner-strength of her grandmother, a seamstress who fled Poland to the US during World War II, and this may explain her knack for covering an emotive subject matter in an easily accessible way.

Kauf – Limestone

Kauf

It is incredible how some musicians create music that can be so introvert and emotive, yet at the same time be sonic and mind altering.

Kauf is one of those artists. The Los Angeles-based electronic producer makes dance music that is also song led and lyrically deep.

His new single ‘Limestone’ hits you on a deeper level. Kauf says,

“The chorus comes from something my boyfriend and I have proudly said to other people – that ‘we never fight,’ which is true, we don’t yell or get into big heated arguments, but that’s definitely not the only sign of problems in a relationship. In this case it was a lack of communication about things under the surface that slowly built up over a long period of time. And the song is about that claustrophobic feeling when you’re in the same space with someone physically but don’t feel you can really connect, whether it’s caused by events that happened within the relationship or other things in your history.”

Kauf’s album ‘Regrowth’ is out on 13 October.

Sounds like: James Blake, Nordic Giants, Bicep, Jon Hopkins, Caribou, Talos, Bonobo

Grey Goon Feat. LeyeT – Zodiac

Grey Goon Ft. LeyeT - Zodiac

Los Angeles producer/songwriter Grey Goon shares ‘Zodiac’ featuring LeyeT.

Despite writing behind the scenes for artists such as DJ Khaled and Lauren Ruth Ward, ‘Zodiac’ is Grey Goon’s debut as an artist in his own right.

He has asked singer LeyeT to join him,

“Zodiac is about reflecting on a past relationship that turned sour. In the end, there’s no need to get into all the details of how or why that once great relationship went wrong, whose fault it is…blah blah. In this scenario, it didn’t work out because I didn’t fit into that other person’s perfect plan or mold. Even though our astrology signs were deemed compatible, sometimes that isn’t enough ;)”

Sounds like: Austra, Kate Boy
