Apsley – Sold

Apsley - Sold

Apsley – Sold

Idaho-based Apsley (aka Jacob Apsley) releases his debut track, ‘Sold’, and it’s a stunner.

Originally a drummer (he started at the tender age of six), Jacob later picked up the piano, guitar and singing skills that we today witness on ‘Sold’.

‘Sold’ is about seeing life as it really is, and not being shackled to the conforms of society. With that in mind, we recommend you whack this song on your headphones and go for a walk outside.

Runaway Zoo

Runaway Zoo are a “dream big” four-piece from Finland comprised of school friends, Juska Reiman, Miika Mettiäinen, Jesse Hiltunen and Sampo Winberg.

They cite influences from varying musical genres and refuse to pigeonhole themselves.

Although ‘Just To Be Somebody’ fits nicely into the “electro pop” corner, this is just one point on the band’s triangle.

T.O.L.D – Return Forever

T.O.L.D by Hassan Rahim

T.O.L.D by Hassan Rahim

T.O.L.D stands for ‘The Order of Life and Death’ and is the project of the British-born, Dan Smith.

His new track ‘Return Forever’ is gospel synth pop. From timid beginnings, the track has a surprisingly uplifting chorus, reminiscent of his last hit ‘Lucifer’s Eyes’.

Written with Jas from Simian Mobile Disco, T.O.L.D say “we spend a day in his studio in London fucking around with synths & drum machines, three years later this song emerged from a studio in Echo Park. A kind of Nietzchean dance song.”

‘Return Forever’ is released on IAMSOUND Records.
