The duo have teamed up to serenade us with new music. Their single, ‘Silvery’, is a captivating and well-crafted song that starts off reasonably mellow before becoming progressively more beautiful the longer you listen to it.
Perfect for fans of Bon Iver, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and James Vincent McMorrow.
It is taken off their upcoming album ‘Heiress’, out this November.

Dutch producer/DJ and 22 Tracks curator, Saux takes inspiration from left-field disco, tropical music and contemporary pop.
His new track, ‘Saves The World’ is as you’d expect. It has a slow but solid disco back-beat with sweet funk guitar riffs, and stripped-back and smoothed-out vocals.
Of the track, Saux says; “Musically it’s a melting pot – it’s my interpretation of many different influences. Sound-wise it’s my way of trying to capture a warm saturated sound with few layers like the old Arthur Russell disco records or South African 70’s pop. The song talks about how relationships can be influenced so much by emotional and physical distance.”
The track is out now, on his own imprint, CahorsRecordings.
Sounds like: Friendly Fires, Metronomy, Ben Khan, Royce Wood Junior, XO
The Him is the fresh and experimental production duo of Dutch citizens, Jeroen Kerstens and Steven Berghuijs, who have both managed to appease lovers of indie, deep house, nu disco and pop all in one.
Their new track, ‘Don’t Leave Without Me’ is slightly more dance-based than our usual posts, but it includes the pleasingly rich vocals of pop singer, Gia Koka (who is also a writer and producer), so we couldn’t say no.
Listen below and drift away to warmer climates.

There has been a recent change in music direction to more R&B inspired synth pop. Bang on trend (one wouldn’t expect anything less from a fashionista) is Young & Sick; the Los Angeles based music and art project of Dutch Nick Van Hofwegen.
The man is just a bit talented. He has a clothing line and has also created pieces of artwork for bands including Foster The People and Mikky Ekko.
The upbeat and seductive ‘Heartache Fetish’ is layered with soulful grooves and a twinkling chorus. The track is taken from his self-entitled debut album which is out now via Harvest Records.
