Feasting on a rich blend of all things Americana, Harriet have unveiled another album track gem called ‘Bring Me When You Go’.

The forthcoming album, ‘American Appetite’, is produced by Sean O’Brien (The National, Jeff Bridges) and (Nickel Creek, The Replacements), and seeks inspiration from the American condition; the controversy, alienation and fear that it ensues.

Pre-order ‘American Appetite’ on iTunes. It will be released worldwide on 29 January on Harvest Records.

Young & Sick – Heartache Fetish

There has been a recent change in music direction to more R&B inspired synth pop. Bang on trend (one wouldn’t expect anything less from a fashionista) is Young & Sick; the Los Angeles based music and art project of Dutch Nick Van Hofwegen.

The man is just a bit talented. He has a clothing line and has also created pieces of artwork for bands including Foster The People and Mikky Ekko.

The upbeat and seductive ‘Heartache Fetish’ is layered with soulful grooves and a twinkling chorus. The track is taken from his self-entitled debut album which is out now via Harvest Records.

After being featured on our February playlist, we are pleased to show the Ian Schwartz and Cooper Roberts-directed video of ‘Good Mistake’ by Norweigen Mr Little Jeans (aka Monica Birkenes).

The energetic track has been taken from her debut LP, ‘Pocketknife’, which has been produced by Tim Anderson (Ima Robot, Dead Man’s Bones) in L.A.
