Otzeki – All This Time

Otzeki

London based duo, Otzeki, have just shared the video for ‘All This Time’.

The video is made up of footage recorded on vocalist Mike’s iPhone over the past two years in various locations including LA, London and Cambridge. “It a visual diary of things,” explains Mike. “Like our previous videos the subject matter is contained within everyday reality and gives it a certain enigmatic quality in line with the themes of the song.”

The blues-ridden and minimal intro of ‘All This Time’ slowly envelopes us with its sub soul vocals, sensual bass lines, tribal tones, and echoes of rave culture, eventually leading to an intimate and dreamy climax.

The track has been mixed by Nathan Boddy (James Blake, S.W.E.A.T).

They play the Sebright Arms in London on 23 March.

Glassio – Morning House Feat. Charles Fauna

Glassio

Glassio put together an awesome playlist for us last year, so we’re super excited to share their new electro-pop track, ‘Morning House’ featuring Brooklyn artist/producer, Charles Fauna.

Despite growing up in different parts of the world (Sam between Dubai and London and Charlie in Paris), these musical cultures have merged to form the sound of Glassio that we know today.

‘Morning House’, written out of their bedroom studio, was fuelled by the need to dispel negative energy; “Morning House” is an homage to living in the moment, mindfulness, and self-reflection.”

Sounds like: Aquilo, Foals, Jagwar Ma, Rüfüs, Flume, Odesza, Bob Moses, Glass Animals, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

PHIL GOOD – Growing Up

PHIL GOOD

PHIL GOOD

Taking a much darker tone than ‘Sleeping In‘, Los Angeles-based PHIL GOOD shares ‘Growing Up’.

The track has a brooding pace which matches perfectly with PHIL GOOD’s sultry vocals.

Speaking on the track, he explains,

“I wanted this song to be heavier and darker than I’ve ever gone before, both musically and lyrically. I think Growing Up captures that feeling of restlessness and insanity that occurs when you’re trying to get over something or someone, but your mind and your body are fighting you back as hard as they can. I’m extremely happy with how this song turned out and I can’t wait to play it live.”

Sounds like: Honne, Joseph Salvat, Miike Snow, Glass Animals, Joywave, Just Kiddin’
