Self-produced/directed DIY music videos are becoming almost a necessity given the current world climate, however, some are executed better than others, and this statement rings true with the mesmerising release from Celeste, out now on Polydor Records.

Beautifully simple and graceful, the video for ‘I Can See The Change’ doesn’t try too hard to be noticed, instead, the focus is put on supporting the track itself, and allowing the attention of the viewer to remain on Celeste’s arresting vocal tones.

The video features iconic and never more relevant footage from the March on Washington in 1963, at which Martin Luther King Jr delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech.

Produced by FINNEAS, this modern-day jazz ballad will move you to the core.

Roet wants to ‘Burn It All Down’ in dramatic new single.

You might not recognise the name, but his distinct vocals earned him a deal singing backup vocals for MAX and gnash’s orchestral version of ‘Lights Down Low’.

It’s healthy to let that angst out in a constructive manner, so connecting with a darker side of his personality, Roet explains,

“I just got sick of writing songs with happy endings and decided to embrace the dark side a bit.”

‘Burn It Down’ is the first single off Roet’s upcoming seven track EP, ‘These Little Tragedies’.

The video for their latest track, ‘Evermore’, features the melodic vocals of Gabrielle Current and FINNEAS (THE SLIGHTLYS), and follows Paris & Simon charmingly wandering the streets of Montreal.

Speaking of the track, Paris & Simo explain,

“We had so many ideas of what we wanted to do musically, so we set out to find some of the newest and most talented songwriters we could find to bring the best new set. When we found Finn and Gabrielle they brought exactly what took the song to another level and created a bond between us as songwriters that we hope inspires more material in the future, Enjoy!”
