Est-Her – Last Minute Wedding

Est-Her by Dylan Tedaldi

Dear Lorde. Please meet your male match. Toronto-based Est-Her.

Est-Her left his career as a professional ballet dancer to pursue music. His sophomore release ‘Last Minute Wedding’ was produced with French producer Porter Elvinger and arrives with a highly intense short film self-directed alongside Ram Accoumeh.

Speaking about his writing process, Est-Her explains,

“When I’m writing, I always have some film playing in the background. When I finish each track, I splice together these supercuts from either scenes of films that I love, or random clips I think best suits the song. For ‘Last Minute Wedding,’ I started compiling a ton of home movies of weddings taped on VHS, and sped them up to look like a flip book.”

Dan Flynn – Across The Wire

Dan Flynn

Melbourne musician Dan Flynn shares ‘Across The Wire’.

Much like all good folk songs, there is a soft melancholy throughout the song, and the addition of the lo-fi choir makes it an all atmospheric feat.

‘Across the Wire’ is the lead single taken from Dan Flynn’s upcoming solo album ‘Ghost Melodies’, out on 22 September.
