Gabriella Vixen – Old Mistake

Gabriella Vixen

Break-ups suck, we all know that, and Kent-based Gabriella Vixen perfectly describes the process of bumping into an ex in her new single, ‘Old Mistake’,

“Old mistake is about the empowering realisation that comes after that brief moment that we all at some point have experienced. When you bump into someone from your past, a flash of memories, followed by belly flipping butterflies, losing the ability to talk without stuttering, rosy cheeks and even an exchange of new numbers.”

Feisty! Gabriella is on our ones to watch list for 2019.

Rive – Sleepless

Rive - Sleepless

Rive – Sleepless

Rive is an unsigned electro indie pop duo comprising of Ceri (electric guitar and vocals) and Natascha (keys, vocals and sample pad).

The girls met in London over a mutual love for songwriting and sangria, and instantly formed a sister-like bond. This bond has helped the girls create perfect harmonies in ‘Sleepless’, which also has a slight 80’s, Cyndi Lauper-vibe to it.

Rive gained the attention of the Roundhouse in 2014 through their 30/30 initiative, which pairs the best unsigned and emerging talent with established producers. Their debut single ‘Sleepless’ was co-produced by innovative electronic artist, Tim Exile, and the result has seen Rive invited to join Roundhouse’s exclusive Resident Artist roster.

They made the music video for ‘Sleepless’ with LA director Josh Harms, and it is released on 10 August, with the support of the Roundhouse and Dyne Road Recordings.

It is available for purchase on iTunes now.
