Cherry Blossom Kids – Take Care

Cherry Blossom Kids

Modern-day society – even pre Covid-19 – gives many of us reason to feel anxious or like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Luckily for us, we have a new and fresh interpretation for our existential crisis’ in the form of new Danish band Cherry Blossom Kids.

Stacked with lush guitars and subtle dreamy synths, ‘Take Care’ helps and encourages us to find the release from modern-day pressures and connect with our feelings in a healthier way.

Speaking about the track, Henriksen from the band says,

“The lyrics address the challenges that many faces as they find their place in the world, socially, but also in relation to their own profession. We are so obsessed with achievements and quick results that many people forget what feels right and not what feels like a duty to society.”

Off Bloom – Are You Feeling It Too?

Off Bloom

Picking up their pop pace following support slots on Dua Lipa‘s European tour in 2017, Off Bloom‘s sound is a mixture of edgy 90’s with modern-day guitar-pop riffs.

Are you feeling it too? There are no guesses as to what the title of their new single implies.

This song shows that whilst they are making music and still having fun, underneath they pose a heavier question – are you feeling the pressure of modern society? The answer is probably “Yes, we all are”.

WhoMadeWho – Dynasty

WhoMadeWho

We love electronica being at the forefront of music, but we also love an amalgamation of genres. Cue WhoMadeWho, a Copenhagen-based trio comprised of Tomas Barfod, Jeppe Kjellberg and Tomas Høffding.

WhoMadeWho like to experiment sounds inbetween disco, funk, techno, indie rock and pop. They also like to tackle hot topics whilst they’re at it…including sex. It’s complicated, ever more so with dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, so why not listen to ‘Dynasty’, and turn that energy you spend on your phone into something good, like connecting with someone in real life? Good advice guys!
