Violet Days is the project of Swedish singer/songwriter, Lina Hansson.

Asking whether you ‘Suck At Love’ is always going to be tricky to answer, but it’s also highly relatable to the majority of listeners. Luckily for us, Kris Eriksson (The Chainsmokers) is on production duties, helping Violet Days create an anthemic electronic song that almost makes us forget the initial question.

Violet Days will be playing the Ja Ja Ja club night at The Lexington in London on 23 February.

Violet Days is the electronic project of Stockholm based Lina Hansson.

The new single ‘Your Girl’ is a fresh slice of artful and stylish indie pop.

Lina says of the track;

“I guess this song is my way of saying that sometimes you need to feel like you’re more than just enough for someone. That you want to feel special and deserve not to be taken for granted. It´s like being kept in an emotional limbo where you don´t know what anyone feels anymore, cause there´s no interaction, and that sucks.”

Proving that you don’t need many followers to create musical waves as long as you scream loud enough is Stockholm music project, Violet Days.

Singer, Lina Hansson, says new song ‘Screaming Colors’ is about “the feeling when you realize that you gotta break out of that darkness inside of your head and actually open up your eyes and look around you.”

We’ve been belting this one out in our office, and ‘Screaming Colors’ is worthy of being deemed an epic pop song.

Flor – Warm Blood

The beautiful FLOR is the musical brain child of several writer / producers, originally from Oregon but now residing in Los Angeles.

FLOR is also an aesthetic style, created by the band as an Instagram visual art project. Their Instagram page features 3D, quick-cut renderings of simple moving images, set to soundscapes from the band’s music.

‘Warm Blood’ is the second in a series on monthly singles, following ‘Unsaid’, which was released in May. We can’t wait for July’s single.
