Baby Raptors – I Am My Only Love

Baby Raptors

Baby Raptors

Baby Raptors is the brainchild of New York electro artist, Tora.

Baby Raptors enlisted the production assistance of Party Supplies on her new release, ‘I Am My Only Love’, and the decision was definitely the right one.

It’s a guitar laden, feel good 80’s pop jam with a simple, yet infectious chorus.

‘I Am My Only Love’ is the first of two tracks from the sessions. Tora explains “The Baby Raptors sound should feel like total abandon – like a long summer Saturday and a vacation from here and now.. I really wanted my first collab to be with Party Supplies for his signature nu-school production that blends dance and 80’s pop.”

‘I Am My Only Love’ will be out on 8 April.

KLOE by Alena Jascanka

KLOE by Alena Jascanka

Glaswegian KLOE has been making waves in Scotland and beyond.

Her latest track ‘Touch’ has been produced by Lewis Gardiner of Scottish band Prides, and emulates modern youth, providing an honest insight into KLOE and the teenage generation of today. It features KLOE’s signature whispered vocals lined up over bass-laden synths.

KLOE said, “I’m so excited to finally be releasing new music. Touch is the last piece of the puzzle to my little trilogy – which began last December with Grip. The track is about a guy who introduced me to a lot of vice and made me grow up a lot. This song marks the end of an era – and also the beginning of what’s to come.”

Transviolet – Girls Your Age

Transviolet

Transviolet

Los Angeles quartet Transviolet have just revealed their debut track, ‘Girls Your Age’.

Distinctive vocals sat atop imaginative production, the track unfurls from the outset to create a stunning opening gambit.

Speaking on the track, the band state:

“It’s complicated- coming into your own. Especially for girls. The world wants you to fit a role- be smart OR be sexy OR be modest- they want you to fit into some tidy, little, one-size-fits-all box. The truth is, you are human, and you aren’t meant to be just one thing. You can be innocent, sexy, elegant, dirty, beautiful, and flawed all in the same instance, and you don’t have to let anyone flatten you out into some one dimensional caricature of yourself. Fuck that. You are multidimensional, and you are capable of being everything at once.”

Sounds like: Lorde, Chelsea Lankes, Dominique, Lana Del Rey, B.Miles, Zola Blood
