Pistol Shrimp
Pistol Shrimp is back with the video for the strongest track yet. It’s hard to believe a video of this standard was directed by 17 year old Jake Matos.
The beautifully shot video by the 17 year old is about being young, free, having fun and doing what you love. It follows two boys and two girls on their separate dream adventures.
The track has an electro-synth backing with layered vocals sprinkled on top, and includes those dreamy hooks that Pistol Shrimp are renowned for.

Israel born and raised Roby Fayer is a 26 year old musician whose track ‘Safety Land’ popped up in our inbox this morning.
Fayer started making music when he was 18, taking a slightly different direction from his original passion for painting and design. He initially explored the genres of electronica, house and trance, but his tastes now include indie and rock. He cites influences from Alt-J, Lana Del Ray, Coldplay, The Script, Jessie Ware, and Sam Smith.
His super catchy track features Rotem Aberbach and we are looking to hearing more from Fayer.

Pistol Shrimp
Pistol Shrimp (aka UK-based musician David Burreddu and US based musician Aaron Peterson) is back with a new video for ‘Taking Names’; one of the tracks taken from the brilliant debut ‘Hearts EP’.
The beautiful and thought-provoking animated video is directed by Stefan Hollenbach and follows a robot travelling across land and sea to eventually jet off into space.

Kacy Hill – Experience
Tipped for great things is Kacy Hill.
Now situated in Los Angeles, Hill was originally from Phoenix. The model-come-singer stumbled upon writing music by accident and we are glad she did.
Her first track ‘Experience’ has been produced by Jaylien Wesley and is described as being about “otherworldly vocal and futuristic production which is matched by a compelling visual, inspired by the intricacies of being human and our ability to think into detail and absorb meaning behind subconscious and conscious action.”
This point of view is resonated in the futuristic Stephen Garnett-directed video for ‘Experience’, which is simple but magnetic, reminiscent of something from an alien movie.

Cannons is a newly-formed indietronica band from Los Angeles, comprised of three musicians; lead singer Michelle Joy, lead guitarist Ryan Clapham, and Paul Davis on drums and keys.
Listed in the ‘nu-disco’ category, every track on their Soundcloud is powerful and melodic.
New track ‘Touch’ may be super chilled, but it still retains an organic house vibe.
