There is very little we know about Liverpool-based band, BlackPulp, apart from the fact they create illuminating indie pop that reminds us of a “rough around the edges” Foals, or a nodding Bombay Bicycle Club.
Their second ever release, ‘Vapour’, gives us a lesson about the effect girls have on boys.

We declared BadSounds our new favourite band after watching them perform at The Alternative Escape in Brighton last month.
Producing some real badass sounds, the Bath five-piece fuse cheerful pop hooks, fuzzy guitar lines, and addictive choruses, bringing sounds of the 70’s and 80’s into the 90’s Brit-Pop era with a modern twist.
‘Avalanche’ has been co-produced by Duncan Mills (Peace, Spectator).

Feasting on a rich blend of all things Americana, Harriet have unveiled another album track gem called ‘Bring Me When You Go’.
The forthcoming album, ‘American Appetite’, is produced by Sean O’Brien (The National, Jeff Bridges) and (Nickel Creek, The Replacements), and seeks inspiration from the American condition; the controversy, alienation and fear that it ensues.
Pre-order ‘American Appetite’ on iTunes. It will be released worldwide on 29 January on HarvestRecords.
