Los Angeles-based producer Le Youth releases a slightly surprising more chilled out track than usual, featuring talented American producer, singer, songwriter MNDR who has worked with the likes of Mark Ronson, RAC and Flume.
Speaking of the track, Le Youth explains,
“…Creatively speaking, ‘I Could Always’ is a bit different from the other songs I’ve put out. It’s not dance and it’s not pop. The music, vocal, and video come together to create a vibe that’s hard to describe, but you just get it… That’s how I knew this needed to come out. I’m so excited to share this one.”
Brighton four-piece, YONAKA are back with a video for ‘Bubblegum’.
Directed by Ali Kurr (Loyle Carner), it exposes the chaotic world of YONAKA, both on stage and off (remember the guitarist cutting his head open at The Great Escape this year?!), as the band play to a packed and sweaty room.
Watch below and try and spot the giant bubblegum.
It’s out now on Atlantic Records.
The band will also be playing their biggest headline show to date at The Garage in London, on 28 February. Get your tickets here.

Sweet electronic duo, HONNE, return with the gospel tinged ‘Good Together’.
Another song about true feelings and desires, ‘Good Together’ is about that honeymoon-period in a new relationship.
Let’s hope the relationship with HONNE continues for many, many years more.
‘Good Together’ is taken from their forthcoming, much-anticipated debut album, ‘Warm On A Cold Night’, released 22 July via Atlantic Records.

There is some good music coming out of Los Angeles at the moment.
Glittering pop band KITTEN are planning on releasing their debut, self-entitled album this coming June and we thought we’d write a cheeky post about the leading track off the album called ‘Like A Stranger’.
There is no doubting that the post punk inspired video showcases front woman Chloe Chaidez’s oozing sex appeal, but it rightfully doesn’t distract from the track itself; full of 80’s sounding heavy synths with a rocky edge and catchy lyrics.
Pre-order KITTEN’s debut, self-entitled album on iTunes now.
Sounds like: Ronika, Indiana, Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Ballet School, Lights, La Roux, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, The Cure
French four-piece Phoenix were playing together for over 10 years before they got properly noticed thanks to their 2009 album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Now they are back with an equally charming fifth album ‘Bankrupt!’ which was out 19th April 2013 on Glassnote Records and Atlantic Records.
Now they have just unveiled the video for ‘Trying to Be Cool’, which a choreographed special effects filmset with all sorts of cameras, instruments, props, crew and cast appearing in an ascending staged production climaxing with a mass dance sequence to a section from the sixth track from ‘Bankrupt’; ‘Drakkar Noir’.
