They make music that typically fits into the “shoegaze” category, but Hidden Hind have a little bit of an edge courtesy of lead female vocalist, Alessandra Testoni.

Grimes
Montreal experimental-electronic artist Clair Boucher aka Grimes has been had a very natural progression of producing great music and ascension through time, with her fourth album ‘Art Angels’ due out in November.
The self-directed video for ‘Flesh without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream’ follows a lost angel. The first act is a quirky and colourful portrayal of pop, and boasts everything we love about Grimes. The second act is still pretty macabre, but is more of a view into the softer side of Grimes, showcasing her high calibre vocals.
It is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Art Angels,’ which is out digitally 6 November on 4AD. Pre-order on iTunes.

Be Forest
Be Forest are a band from Pescaro, Italy. Originally starting as a trio, Be Forest consists of guitarist Nicola Lampredi, Erica Terenzi on drums and vocals, and Costanza Delle Rose on bass and vocals.
The band released their debut album ‘Cold’ in 2011 and instantly created an energetic and new musical stir, namely the ‘Pescaro-scene’.
As the band describe; “Pesaro is not a city for young people, there are less and less venues to play at, especially during the winter. Perhaps this lack is exactly what motivates kids to embrace music so passionately”.
Fast forward 2 years, add fourth member Lorenzo Badioli on electronic duties and listen to the track ‘Colours’. The track takes you through a hypnotic ethereal journey with a deep and steady beat, and tremolo guitar riffs.
‘Colours’ has been taken from Be Forest’s more uplifting sophomore album, ‘Earthbeat’, which will be released on 4 February 2014 on WE WERE NEVER BEiNG BORING. The album can be pre-ordered here.

London producer Gent Mason creates wonderfully minimalistic R&B infused indietronica. His debut EP ‘Eden’ is out Oct 7th on new label Aesop, to which Sohn was signed to till recently signing with 4AD.
Gent cites influence from American Hip Hop / R&B, which can be subtly heard in his music, though his use of mangled beats, distorted, remorseful vocals and reverberating bass creates a unique and modern sound to latest release ‘Head’.
