The super sweet Brooklyn electronic group Holy Ghost! are Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel.
With similarities to that of New Order and Depeche Mode, as well as the more recent Friendly Fires, the band are the next great export from Brooklyn, NYC.
Their self-produced sophomore album of 2 years in the making is finally available on iTunes now via DFA Records. ‘Dynamics’ was produced with a little help from producer/engineer Chris Zane (Passion Pit, The Walkmen) and follows on from their first self-entitled album which was released in 2011.
‘Okay’ is the first track on ‘Dynamics’ and immediately fills the room with a deep synth bass until the somewhat lonely lyrics kick in. The contradictory track is about a strenuous and demanding situation (in this case a relationship) that is similar to a B-movie.
